Embark on a sensory voyage with Eiral Albariño, a radiant expression of Spain’s esteemed Rías Baixas region. Cultivated amidst the coastal vineyards of Galicia, this distinguished white wine reflects the essence of Albariño, celebrated for its vibrant acidity and crisp, citrus-infused flavors. Eiral pays homage to the maritime influence that shapes the character of Rías Baixas wines, with grapes ripening under the gentle Atlantic breezes and sun-drenched slopes. Handpicked at peak maturity, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing and cool fermentation process, preserving their natural freshness and aromatic intensity. Eiral Albariño captivates with its pale straw color and enticing aromas of white peaches, citrus blossoms, and hints of saline minerality. On the palate, flavors of ripe lemon, green apple, and a touch of sea spray unfold, framed by zesty acidity and a lingering finish. Whether enjoyed on a sun-dappled terrace or paired with fresh seafood, Eiral Albariño offers a sensory journey through the coastal landscapes of Galicia, reflecting the region’s terroir and the passion of its winemakers.

D.O Rias Baixas

Rías Baixas is a Spanish Denominación de Origen (DO) (Denominación de Orixe in Galician) for wines located in the province of Pontevedra and the south of the province of Corunna in the autonomous community of Galicia, Spain. It is renowned for its white wines made from the Albariño grape variety. Its Regulatory Council is headquartered at Pazo de Mugartegui in the city of Pontevedra. It is believed that the Albariño grape was introduced to the area in the 12th century by the Cistercian monks of the Monastery of Armenteira [es].

The sub-zones of Rosal and Condado have a long history of grape growing and wine production and have their own traditional styles. The Salnés sub-zone only recently began to produce Albariño wines, for local sales to bars and restaurants.

Rías Baixas acquired its official status as a Denominación de Origen (DO) in 1988. This replaced the earlier "Denominación Específica Albariño" status which had been granted in 1980. Its Regulatory Council (Consejo Regulador) is based at Pazo de Mugartegui in the city of Pontevedra.
