Colour
High robe wine. Intense ruby red color with tile glints.
Nose
Very mineral, with hints of graphite, humus, black stones and freshly tilled earth. They are intertwined with notes of spices, balsamic and floral like violet.

Very balanced, with power and elegance, a firm tannic load in the center of the mouth, without concentrations or aggressiveness. The aftertaste is wide and harmonious, returning again the smoky and toasted notes.
Step into the world of distinguished Spanish winemaking with the Enrique Mendoza Santa Rosa, a wine that pays homage to the legacy and innovative spirit of its namesake winery. Nestled in the picturesque region of Alicante, Enrique Mendoza has established itself as a beacon of quality, dedication, and respect for the terroir. The Santa Rosa embodies the pinnacle of their winemaking journey, representing a blend of tradition and innovation, crafted in honor of Rosa Cortés, the matriarch of the Mendoza family.
The Santa Rosa is meticulously assembled from a carefully selected blend of Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes, harvested from the estate’s most esteemed vineyards. These varietals, each contributing their unique characteristics, are brought together to create a wine that is greater than the sum of its parts. The Monastrell provides a robust and earthy foundation, the Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and depth, while the Merlot offers softness and fruitiness, resulting in a harmonious and complex wine.
Aging in French oak barrels imparts the Santa Rosa with an elegant framework of tannins and a subtle overlay of vanilla and spice, complementing the wine’s natural fruit flavors without overpowering them. This careful aging process ensures a wine that is balanced, with a remarkable capacity for aging, evolving in the bottle to reveal new depths over time.
The Enrique Mendoza Santa Rosa is not just a wine; it is an experience. It pairs beautifully with a range of dishes, from grilled meats and robust stews to refined cheeses, making it a versatile choice for any occasion. Whether enjoyed on a special evening or as a cherished gift, the Santa Rosa is a testament to the art of winemaking, inviting connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike to explore the depth of Alicante’s vinicultural heritage.
