These sites offer a diverse catalog of soil compositions, ranging from the calcareous soils of Baños to the gravelly terrains of Moradillo and the whitish sands of Peñaranda, contributing to the wine’s complex and nuanced profile​​​​.

Ribera Del Duero

Ribera del Duero is a designation of origin that covers vineyards located in Castile and León ( Spain ), within a strip of the Duero River basin , about 115 kilometers long and 35 wide, located at the confluence of the provinces of Soria (19 municipalities), Burgos (60), Segovia (4) and Valladolid (19). 4 It begins approximately in the east in San Esteban de Gormaz and extends to Quintanilla de Onésimo in the west. At the end of 2005, crops in the area constituted approximately 2% of the total area dedicated to grape cultivation in Spain.

As of December 31, 2017, it comprises a registered vineyard area of ​​23,353 ha 5​ consisting of 8,220 active winegrowers 5​ and 288 wineries . 6​ In 2018, the harvest began on September 19 and reached 125,438,801 kilos of grapes collected.
